FYI they are pricematching woolies offer - https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/257349/dra…

    • Thanks! Didn't even realise they sold it.

    • I bought some from Woolies as you can never have enough yummy fried onion.

They taste nice, although they seem to me to be mostly fried onion skins (you know the dried-out brown outer wrapping) more so than fried and dried soft onion.
They taste of onions but they're not nearly as strong or as tasty as the fried onions you'd get from your own frying pan.

In asia these are usually sprinkled over dishes (rice, meat, congee, noodles, sambal). More of a savoury thing, to add crunch and extra hit of salt & MSG.

One of these must have lasted me over a year the last time that I bought them, however they are not as delicious as fried shallots.

  • Yum I put these on every thing I eat
