Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps Subscription Deal via Lebanon - Change in Price

Has anyone had their subscription from this dea change in price after Adobe determined their primary country of usage was actually Australia not Lebanon?

Just received an email saying they determined my primary country of usage was Australia not Lebanon and they want to change my price to the Australian subscription price. Not sure how they determined my primary country of usage unless they're recording my IP address or other geographical information at usage.

Wonder what this means for this Geopricing loophole with Adobe.

  • anyone else get charged $528? - they have essentially billed me twice. - Well it's currently sitting on pending on my credit card so unsure if it will drop off or not.

    I then have a debit and credit for $264 - so no idea what this $528 is….

    I actually had the opposite of being charged. My revolut card was refunded $1.91. I used a disposable card

  • I don't think I've received that email however I made up a random gmail when I signed up and that's been suspended so switched to another gmail. Says renewal is 26th of June for 980,400 LL. Used a one time Revolut card too and they wouldn't accept another Revolut card (one time or otherwise) so I gave it my Comm Bank Debit Card number! Will be interesting to see what goes down in a little over a month

    i just got an email saying my subscription renewal price in june is going up the from teacher price of AU$6/yr to US$419/yr. lol. cancelled

    • Weirdly mine is saying it's going up US $659.88 a year to US $659.88 a year. I most definitely didn't pay that price haha.

    The price of Creative Cloud All Apps for students and teachers is changing to US $419.88/year (including applicable Tax/VAT), which will take effect on your next renewal date. This price continues to reflect an over 35% discount on the Creative Cloud All Apps plan.

    But in my account :
    Subscription Yearly, billed upfront LL 623,760/yr, which is about AUD10 (I'm guessing LL as LBP)

    Can anyone confirm if they were billed USD419.88 or AUD10?

    I'm using CBA debit card from last year's payment

    • I've got mine linked to my Revolut with juuuuust enough to cover the LL 980,400/yr it reckons is being charged despite receiving the email saying it's going up to US $659.88. Should be fun!

      So my account was still saying the same low renewal fee, I took a screenshot but then when it rolled around I was charged the larger USD price.

      I am now trying to get them to cancel it and refund but they're being painful about it, as they say the 14 day refund policy is only on the initial purchase a year ago. You have to go through live chat to sort the refund and so I recommend cancelling before your renewal to avoid this process.

      • debit cards are great for bouncing payments, just keep a low balance.

        even though i cancelled and got a cancellation confirmation, i got this email recently:

        Suspension Confirmation

        Your subscription has been suspended. We have attempted to contact you to update your payment information, but the payment has failed. During this suspension period, you will lose access to the paid tools in your subscription; however, you will retain access to your Account and any Content within our free user storage limits. We will continue to attempt to collect payment for the remainder of your subscription term. Once payment is received, your subscription access will be fully restored.

        Please update your payment information via Your Account or contact Customer Support.

        so they are saying they are still trying to debit my card. i hope the US government is successful in their legal action against adobe.

        • Yeh I ended up cancelling too when it changed to the higher USD price, have the cancellation email and all and they're still trying lol

    I used a prepaid Mastercatd and the balance is long since gone,

  • So I just got onto support and got them to remove the cards listed on the account as I initially used my main cc when I signed up then changed it to revolt.

    To my surprise, it was still saved
