  • Spring Festival is on, when delivery date?

    • Unlikely. There's a 12 business day guarantee on Choice Products ;)

      • Didn’t know about choice products

Similar to Amazon in that stores have their products stored in AliExpress warehouses with fast delivery. You can claim a US$1 coupon for late delivery and a full refund after 30 days. Despite US$1 not being much it's a good incentive for AliExpress to ensure fast delivery.

@Clear: Bet you wish you got $1 every time you explained Choice.

            • @PainToad: More so if I had to explain to people why you don't set overseas websites to AUD. Everyone on OzBargain knew years ago and now it seems no one does.

I really need to start making some macros for this stuff.

              • @Clear: I’m sure jv can help you create some macros, he must have some for formatting.

Just your standard USB plug. You can power these off 5V/1A or even the USB port on your computer.

    • Not Asus? They clearly replace the first alphabet with the last. A become z and keep the sus

Be careful. Our 14" died and we used it maybe 5 times. Both the store and Aliexpress support just repeated : we have to wait 3 business days… All the time another 3 business days. And again… No outcome since 5 December 2023…
It was ok till it worked…

    • +5

They didn’t say which 3 business days.

You must wait until the first Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in February 2034. Then they’ll be happy to assist.

Hold up. AliExpress is an offical Olympics partner?

Lol. IOC has no shame any more do they.

    • That's not a bad thing. Besides Alibaba have been partnering with them since 2017 it turns out.

      • +1

I mean they’re partner with a company that sources lots of their revenue from copyright infringement…bet the IOC don’t like people pirating their broadcast or selling counterfeit merchandise…but it’s ok to partner with a company that does it to others.

        • +1

Well it is the IOC after all.

    • Partner is just financial contributor isn't it?

So many portable monitor deals lately. What are the best use cases for these?

I can't work it out though to be fair I haven't spent much time thinking about it….

    • +8

I was thinking about grabbing one for when I travel for work. Nothings sucks more when you go from dual monitors at your desk to a 13” laptop screen in a hotel room… makes multi-tasking horrible.

    • If you work alot on your laptop and need a dual screen really.

Otherwise you can get a chromecast and portable battery for an elcbeapo tablet?

    • When you can't afford a zenbook duo

  • Dead link?

    • VPN, Starlink or something else is masking your location.

    Zsus Christ..

  • For non Choice sellers, when do they usually go on holidays for New Years??? Just before Saturday this week?

    • Many of them already on the way to their hometown.

  • Can't seem to find exactly what I want.

15 to 16 inch, 1440 or 1600p, IPS. with USB C input with or without touchscreen (but if so, still only one cable)

My current one is 14 inch, USB C power and operation and optional USB C power boost just below the regular USB C input.

    It works well

  • What are people using to protect these when traveling? I don't use a laptop bag and have been tossing everything into my backpack which seems like a bad idea for these

  • Anyone have one of these and can confirm if these suffer from screen bleed when the screen is black?

    • +1

I think at this price point it's almost a definite. But really, for $130 it's not a deal breaker.

  • +4

    I don't need it… I don't need it… I don't need it….

    • You're on the wrong website

    • … but you bought it :D
