Hi guys looking for 2 tickets to Coldplay concert tickets in Sydney. Looks like we missed the presale. Are they going to release more tickets officially or it’s all sold out?
Coldplay Sydney 2024

The concerts sold out very quickly. Unlikely to be any significant new ticket release.
Check on Ticketek Marketplace for re-sell. Just expect to wait 20 mins for the relentless Taylor Swift queue to load.

Ticketek responsible for millions of wasted man hours waiting for their stupid queues.
I get a nervous twitch everytime I see it.
Presale? You've missed every sale.
There are so many platforms selling the tickets not sure which ones are legit. Unfortunately we were overseas for vacation and missed the opportunity to buy the tickets.
I’m looking at tixel. Is that a scam site?
Ticket merchant has tickets but double the face value price.Marketplace ticketek has a long long wait time. I’m not even interested in Taylor Swift concert.
Any resell on 3rd party site is a scam because it is illegal
What about market place ticketek? That’s are official site
Obviously not illegal then.
Ticketek Marketplace is legit. Ticket's are re-issued in your name.
I went through the queue and Coldplay tickets aren't listed yet. Probably closer to the concert date at the end of the year.
The Taylor Swift concerts will be over in a few weeks…maybe try again for Coldplay then.
I have known people who bought/sold using Tixel before wit no issues… but it is not official so there is a risk.
I've previously bought tickets for events through Tixel. And I haven't had any issues so far.
Ticket reselling is only illegal when the sale price is 10% (in NSW) more than the original face value++ of the ticket. Tixel explicitly does not allow this to happen.
Having said that, unofficial reselling may not be in accordance with the event organiser's terms and conditions. This doesn't make it illegal, but you may have to be mindful and check the original sale policy.
In NSW, it is illegal for the organisers to cancel a ticket on the basis of it being resold on a different platform, as long as it was resold in accordance with the current NSW law.
https://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/buying-products-and-servi…However, other platforms like Viagogo were in the news before for encouraging scalping and allowing the resale of the same ticket to multiple parties.
Also, I think it's unlikely that there would be further new sales; they were only planning two shows in Sydney before, and both got sold out in the presale within an hour, then they announced a third show the next day, again sold out in less than 30 mins, and a fourth show the following day, only for the same to happen again. And now they are doing two more shows than they originally planned.
Thank you mate. So far I can see 4 shows in November are there going to be any more?
In tixel I’ve entered my card for auto purchase of 2 tickets as there are heaps of people in the queue and I’ll have better chances of getting tickets. Am I making a big mistake or it’s safe?
After Taylor Swift I hope Coldplay tickets are available. I was on market place ticketek for 2 hours and saw Coldplay isn’t even listed.
Edit: with tixel I’m not sure if we can get 2 tickets together. I can’t see an option.
As I said, I do not think they'll have more than 4 shows as they were only planning to do 2 initially.
I haven't used the auto-purchase feature in Tixel, so can't comment on that. Can you put a price cap on it?
Also, I have purchased 2 tickets together before from Tixel. when the ticket is listed it will also have the seating location on the listing.
But again I don't know how that would be on automatic purchase.Maybe also try GA standing? that way you can stick together?
You'd have to wait for a seller who is selling two tickets to get two tickets together in a single purchase.
Can confirm Tixel is legit - have sold 3 tickets on it and had no issues from my buyers. If you come across a scammer by any chance, Tixel holds onto the money and won't release it if you ran into a problem with the tickets so you do not risk your money being lost.
@psj2019: Thanks a lot. Do you know if I setup the auto purchase for 2 tickets - will the system buy one ticket and wait for the other seller to sell or wait until a seller sells two tickets?
I have high chances of getting seats next to each other if the seller sells two tickets of the same category.
@justanick: Not too sure, but my assumption would be that it was for a seller for 2 tickets. I think getting any tickets would be great regardless of if they were next to each other. Good luck!
EDIT: Seems like Tixel has answered this question.
"Please note, that we cannot guarantee that you will purchase 2 or more tickets at the same time and that reserved seating events will purchase tickets seated next to each other. "
Your only (trustworthy) options are Ticketek Marketplace or Tixel. These are official sites where people sell tickets they bought, and no longer want.
Thank you. I’m on it but Coldplay marketplace is not there yet. I’m assuming once this Taylor Swift concert ends I’ll have a chance.
Dude, if you were a true fan you would have your tickets by now, like myself… Yes i had to contend with the dreaded Ticketek Waiting Room of random dreams….. how the f@ck is random allocation fair for someone waiting in “queue” for 1 hour when someone else swans in and instantly gets a ticket. I call BS on that…. #rant over
I got two tickets for Floris Early access for GA standing. Did anyone here got such tickets and share their experience? How soon the gates open for early access?
I’ve never been to a concert in standing always got seating not that I go to many concerts.
If you are way upfront can you easily go out to the toilets and come to get your spot? Or you don’t go to toilet at all.seems like suitable info
https://www.reddit.com/r/Coldplay/comments/17orrxt/floris_ea…I saw this. This is the first post when I googled. There’s lot of comments on negatives and need to know from personal experience from others.
Also most important question re going to the toilet? There’s nothing available online except if someone wants to share their experience or feedback
Guys on tixel my auto purchase went horribly wrong and bought seats not next to each other.
I could sell the tickets but costed me $95 of admin fees all up.
Now I’m reading my money is stuck and cannot withdraw 3 days after the event which is in November. This is ridiculous.
Is there a way I can withdraw the $900 earlier than November?
No. Any resell is a SCAM.
Wait for 2025 pre-sale
