Best Place to Buy Ubiquiti Hardware

Where is the best place to buy Ubiquiti Hardware that might also provide a discount for a large ish order? but also has stock….

CentreCom at the moment sent me the same pricing as what is on the website!

Looking for:

  • Ubiquiti UniFi 6 WiFi 6 Long Range Wireless Access Point
  • Ubiquiti Networks 802.3at 30W PoE+ Injector
  • Ubiquiti NHU-NS-5ACL UISP airMAX NanoStation 5AC Loco
  • Ubiquiti POE Injector 24VDC 12W Gigabit PoE Adapter
  • Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro Enterprise Security Gateway

Also somewhere that might also sell UPS and maybe cabling. Ideally a one stop shop, that is where CentreCom is good. Has stock and has everything.

Looking for other inputs on places to buy that are also good for discounts to a business. Looking to do regular business as I have two lot of requirements at the moment.

Thanks in advance!

  • How many of each? Do you have an ABN?

      • Ubiquiti UniFi 6 WiFi 6 Long Range Wireless Access Point x 1
      • Ubiquiti Networks 802.3at 30W PoE+ Injector x 1
      • Ubiquiti NHU-NS-5ACL UISP airMAX NanoStation 5AC Loco x 2
      • Ubiquiti POE Injector 24VDC 12W Gigabit PoE Adapter x 2
      • Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro Enterprise Security Gateway x 1

      That is just one quote.

And yes, I have an ABN.

  • U6-or is experiencing higher than normal failure rates. Get u6-pro instead.

    • Will do, thanks.

  • CentreCom is already pretty cheap as it is - possibly even cheaper than getting 10% off when buying with an ABN elsewhere

Other places; see if any of the official reseller's have what you need in stock? https://www.ui.com/distributors/

      Yeah, CentreCom has replied saying:

Upon checking, there is not much margin in the products that you request for us to quote.
Usually, we provide good pricing for our business customers when they are ordering in bulk, for products such as branded desktops, laptops, or servers.

Thanks, I will take a look. Wireless1 seem good, but they have some stuff cheaper, and some stuff more expensive, so might be CentreCom.

      • I like Wireless1 for my Ubiquiti gear. I'll usually wait for an eBay sale then buy it through their storefront.

  • What is large ish for you? 10 different items and one of each or 50 nos of the same sku?
I have access to a tier1 Ubiquiti Disti and I can assure you for above quantities you'll be better off buying from Centrecom or Wireless1 with eBay coupon as that is what I already do. Unless it is a large order for a commercial install (i.e school, shopping centre, etc) where you are able to negotiate special pricing, you wont get anything better than Centrecom or W1 even from the Dsiti as the margins are razor thin.

    • Maybe $2k to $3k for an order that might consider of a Gateway/Controller along with some APs.

Based on other comments and the "margin" comment I got from CentreCom, looks like I will just have to buy as per CentreCom pricing.

    • Second this, I often use the retailers over our wholesale account.

I've ordered a fair bit of UniFi gear for biz in bulk before, and always struggled to get much of a discount if any. With the quantities you've listed I would recommend shopping with stores like CentreCom, MWave and even eBay with coupons (which is the best I've done, when buying a few odd items).

If you are looking to save some money you could consider TP-Link Omada gear. I personally put all new equipment in my home and went with Omada due to pricing after using UniFi products commercially for several years.

Yeah, it looks like I am going to have to go to CentreCom and just pay their usual pricing, they seem the best in terms of pricing, postage and returns. Had a device DOA on arrival.

For new customers I am working with that have nothing, I have been going down the TP Link route. But for other customers and might require a bigger solution with PTP links, I use the UniFi stuff because I know it works. I have been expanding my home network to UniFi and love it. Its great, but obviously costly compared to something like TP Link.

  • staticice finds me my cheap prices

    • Very interesting site, thanks, I will take a look,.
