Gym Bluetooth earphones/headphones

Hi,

Been looking for a while for good quality bluetooth headphones, most reviews are seen about the main brands I have checked are mixed, so I am wondering what's the experience here

The main ones that people are recommending are:

Jabra sports

Plantronics-BackBeat-903

Motorola-S10-HD

any recommendations ?

I use my Sennheiser HD25s with a cheap bluetooth adaptor from ebay. Beats buying a dedicated bluetooth headset just for the gym.

    • I agree with you I love the quality of my wired earphones and i want to use it, currently i have the arm strap and it's getting annoying and keeps slipping -_-

how does the bluetooth adapter actually work ? I want to use it with my iphone

    • I'm guessing something like this ?

is this a good price? I might get one and try it, is the sound quality preserved ?

      • I have the exact same one. The sound quality is surprisingly good. Battery life is decent as well.

I usually put my tablet in front of me at the gym and watch breaking bad while lifting.

Quality of bluetooth headphones still can't beat that of wired ones.
After going through a couple of bluetooth ones, including the jabra sport wireless, I've given up and just got the same sennheiser cx680 that I started with.

    • that's the one i'm using and i love it, but the wire is either too short or too long with the volume extension and gets in the way :(

I use Avantalk jogger bluetooth headphones for my runs and they work a treat. Mymemory.co.uk has them for about 20 pounds.

I've been using these for about 6 months http://www.arriva.com/leo/index.html
    - simply brilliant.

Purchased for MTBing as they work very well with helmets but have found perfect for gym too. Sound quality is better than the 3 or 4 mid priced wired ones I have and now never use. They are super comfortable - very easy to use as I can skip tracks/change volume while my phone sit in the locker - worth a closer look.

  • Had to bump this - I am currently looking, is there any in a smaller price bracket? I really like the look of the jabra ones, but I don't really want to be paying $80 for them.

One I would add to the list is the Outdoor Technology Bluetooth Tags
