    • in theory they are still a container….. but without a lid lol

  • Promo code not applied — invalid code, conditions not met, or your existing price is already lower. Please note, promo codes are case sensitive.

    • Probably you are trying to purchase more than 1. Try reducing qty to 1.

Nope. Was just trying to get one. ANyway, I tried again after a few minutes, and code worked. Ended up buying 4 in seperate orders. They are ready now for collection!

      • I added 4 and coupon code worked. Probably not signed in

        • The $25 price is only valid for VIP customers, so you must be signed in. But the BIRTHDAY10 voucher does not work with message - Promo code not applied — invalid code, conditions not met, or your existing price is already lower. Please note, promo codes are case sensitive.

    Got it, thanks OP

    thanks OP, got one

  • Says $25 on spotlight website?

    • +3

      $25 - $10 (BIRTHDAY10) voucher

      • Voucher does not work

  • does it get ozbargained? the promo code box doesn't even show up now.

    • On the left hand side on the payment page.

      • yea I pushed the "Promo Code" box but then a pop up shows with no input field available… just a blank popup page. will try on my phone then

        • Are you logged in to the account? Maybe your computer needs a re-boot or refresh the page and try again.

@Tyrannosaurus Rex: tried couple of times and finally got the cookies removed to make it work again. Cheers mate!

  • +2

These are great, even better at this price, but realistically I don't need any more.

  • +1

Thanks, can't go wrong at the price. Also makes good gift.

  • Got one. Thanks OP.

  • Got one. Thanks

    6 containers, 3 jugs….

1.56l/6.6 cups….seems such an odd size

  • +8

How is 6 containers and 3 jugs $70 before? I guess $15 is ok but even at $25 I don’t think it’s worth it

    • Also noting it's all plastic and "bake it" is so random and misleading there. I hoped they's be over-proof glass, esp. if it's "RRP $70".

      • +2

They're aimed at storing baking ingredients.

      • better hope the people is dispatch don’t write “open other end” on all the sides that might really confuse the demographic that would try and bake the containers.

        • +1

I appreciate the joke (and whatever the first part of that sentence above is), yet there are containers/baking dishes that can do that - and people who have experience and bake probably didn't neg me there.

They probably also see how Sistema or Spotlight might hope somebody falls for that "$70" set, because when it says BAKE, bakers think of actual baking, but I guess the target for this product is people who just like to pour flour from a bag to some overpriced, smallish containers.

          ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got one, didnt need it but will use it thanks :)

  • +4

none in stock near me, so the $10 off only covers delivery fee of $10…so, $25. If they had been click and collect I would have purchased

  • +1

Got one click and collect, need to refresh the page if the coupon hasn't entered correctly!

  • +2

Managed to snag a click&collect order nearby though the store was just showing 1 item left 🤞

Order confirmation also stated "Bonus $5 in-store voucher when placing Click and Collect order". What a deal!

  • Cheers OP. One in stock around the corner.

  • +1

    Part of the spotlight foundation

  • It says that there is one available at my local Spotlight however won't let me switch to Click & Collect to save on the $9.99 delivery fee which is frustrating.. Its literally just up the road

    • +1

I know what you mean, it is somewhat confusing.

The "1 item" is not their stock level, but indicates 1 of your items is available for click and collect at that store. If you have ordered 2, and 2 are available, it would show "2 items" in blue circle.

You also have to click "change to click and collect" for it to be effective, selecting a store doesn't automatically change to click and collect.

      Poor CX design.

      • I was clicking on Change to Click & Collect however it wouldnt load. I think even though it was showing 1 in stock, there were none.

  • Just ordered at my local for C&C so not sure out of stock is correct

    • Correct. Removed Expiry. Random post code check shows stock still available.

  • Thanks OP - I think I got the last one in Sydney.
Wanted to get another one but cost of travel to Wollongong or Gosford would outweigh the savings!

Bought a set years ago for beginning my pantry set up.
Sistema's probably replacing this with the black square Ultra's - but for $15 I can live with the old shape - they stack well enough.

  • +1

Calling it a 9 piece and then making 3 pieces measuring cups is a bit scummy. Might as well call it 15 pieces and make the lids their own pieces.

    • -1

      Some similar packs do this!

      • +1

Are these similar packs normally $70 for 6 containers with three below 700ml? These aren't even good containers lol.

People agree here but not here. Maybe buyers remorse setting in lmao.

    • +2

in supermarket the measuring cups are included in the containers so it’s a bit sneakily, like buying the 112 piece tool kits and it’s has 32 hex it’s in it and 30 cable ties.

  • +1

Thanks OP, my local store had stock.

  • -1

    How can you bake plastic?

    • -1

You might have been categorised as non-intelligent by people who buy these only to store their walnuts and 100s&1000s for 3 years before they actually bake.

  • +2

The previous 12pk for $10 deal is better

    • +1

It was. However different product brand, stacked discount price was one-off and it isn't available at the retailer.

  • For some reason the promo code box is disabled I guess???

  • +1

Thanks OP. Bought one, click and collect at Ballarat. I also apparently get an in store $5 voucher as well, bonus!

  • OOS at my store. Next closest store is 120km away 😢

  • Note, the ultra 7 pack is only $35 and presumably the code works on that. Much better containers and there are 7 containers, with no measuring jugs

    https://www.spotlightstores.com/kitchen/kitchen-storage/food…

    • This pack is much better and the quality also better.

    • If you could find any OOS

    • Yes and there was 12pk for $10 before even better.

  • FML, I found bugs in my flour bag las month and need to get containers like this but somehow I didn’t see deal and now OOS. Doh!

    • I had bugs/ants in my flour all the time so now all flour is kept in the freezer as well as bread improver. Still works perfect in all baking and does not actually freeze so use straight from freezer.

      • and do you store them in containers in the freezer? or ziplock bags?

        • Just the paper bag it comes in

  • They put my order thru with confirmation and then cancelled, poor show!

    • Same show!

      • Update: The store is still showing available as of today but cancelled my order 2 weeks ago lol

  • Got one. Thanks!
