I bought the one below over 12 months ago when they had it in store at Bunnings and it hasn't missed a beat. I'm probably going to get another one now that the first one is full.
https://mistral.com.au/product/mistral-124l-wine-fridge/This is bigger and cheaper.. am I better off getting this to begin with?
I think so. It works well, holds temp and doesn't cycle on all the time.
The only unknown is how long it will last.
Not sure about this particular model, but I had the previous 58 bottle model, and it died a month out of warranty (including the extra 12 months from using CC). When I did a search I found dozens of other posts with a similar outcome. A few people had tried to get it fixed and either no luck, or the quotes were $400+ to repair.
Mine worked fine up to the day it died. It seems they are only built to last 2-3 years.
In Brisbane I have bought 121 bottle wine fridges from Worldwide Vending - first one in July 2021 and second one a few months ago when my Hisense died. Around $1200 and a much larger and better fridge.
Good price. I paid $599 at Costco. Reviews seem solid. Mine are still in the box so can’t comment on my experience yet
I have this one. Got it from JB a couple of years ago in the mid 600’s and I have had no issues. Silent, unlike previous wine fridges through Penfolds deals. I am very happy with it, noting you can pay a lot more to get better features.
It is $594, It is still ok if you need it.
Anywhere around this price is decent.
I've had mine just over a year and it's doing it's thing nicely. Given how not-reliable more expensive brands have become (hello Vintec), this is a solid option.
Have both this and the matching Hisense Drinks Fridge. Both work well, would recommend.
Interested but have no idea. Can anyone share their thoughts on if this is decent and a good deal?
