Looking for Recommendations for a Very Budget Phone Just for YouTube/Netflix

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a really cheap phone for occasionally letting kids watch some Youtube or Netflix. I found the Optus X Start 3 & Vodafone V Lite 4G for $50 at Big W and wondering if these are suitable?

Network lock isn't an issue given I can use Wi-Fi. I'm guessing Youtube/Youtube kids and Netflix should run acceptably OK?

Appreciate any insights or other recommendations! Thanks!

  I don't know but it wouldn't suprise me if anything running Android Go(both those phones run this) struggled with youtube and netflix.
  I'd probably look to ebay for a decent older model second hand/refurbished phone.

  Would a cheap tablet work better? Won't have to worry about calls and just hotspot when they need to watch a video.

    Any suggestions for a similarly priced tablet?

    I'm not worried about calls given I'm not putting a SIM card in the phone anyway.
