At this price your able to pick up a pair of Australian hand made dress shoes/boots on sale made by Andrew McDonald in Sydney. I haven't bought a pair myself but I plan to next time I'm up there and can try them on for size

Those aren't made by him, or are only partially constructed by him. Somewhere on the website states that some are made by a third party vendor.

@laur: I'm sure there are other people who work in his studio, and it's reasonable that he doesn't personally make every part of every shoe but I'm fairly sure they are all made in his studio - I would be interested if you can find something that states otherwise.
The top of the page I linked says "made in our studio in the Strand arcade in Sydney's CBD Australia." Not sure how else that could be interpreted

Can't beat the quality of RMs. My first pair with leather soles lasted 24 years compared with other brands of dress shoes, which may get 8 months.
You would have had to resole and replace the heel a few times at least on those..
