We all have phones outrightly bought. I'm with Vodafone the kids with Dodo. I want to CHANGE this. Looking for good network coverage with data for everyone. I use my data mainly when driving to and from work on youtube (Avid podcast listener) the kids use theirs for communicating with friends via snap/imessage while on the school bus . Home wifi perfect and of course they do not use their phones at school. What is a low cost call, text and data plan for us all? I reckon I use about 10-15GB/month myself. The kids use about 12ishGB each ($20/month/child with Dodo which is very expensive). They are all above 11 years old. I don't mind paying a yearly plan for all but the data has to be split monthly to prevent the teens from using up their yearly data in a week. Also I don't mind data sharing if i can learn how to do it as long as it reduces the expenses I currently have. Thank you. I'm very new here so please bear with me as i learn how to reply to questions.

Another alternative if you're happy with Vodafone's coverage is Kogan Mobile. they offer a 300GB plan for $180 a year, and that can be split at 25GB a month, which would be good for everyone to have each. Would work out to $60 a month for 4 300GB plans.

If you all use Android phones, you can get a yearly plan and follow https://www.tomsguide.com/how-to/how-to-set-data-limits-on-a… to set a monthly limit. Parental controls on the kids phones would help too, so they don't disable this setting.
Thank you guys for replying. I will look into all suggestions. We all have apple phones i think thats not android. Thanks again guys. Keep the suggestions coming.
I recommend a long term prepaid plan such as one of these.
Coles mobile (Optus network) currently on sale - 120 Gb/12 months - $125 with 5000 flybuys points (equivalent to $100).
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/826234Belong (Telstra wholesale) $80 sim packs regularly go on sale for half price. Use with friend referral credit ($20) to give you $100 credit for around $45. Start on a large plan (e.g. $45/100Gb) to give you lots of start up credit, then drop back to $19/4Gb plan. Data rolls over and you can gift belong data to other belong numbers.
https://www.belong.com.au/go/mobileEveryday mobile/Woolworths (Telstra wholesale) $100 and $170 prepaid long term plans currently $10 off for everyday rewards members. This one is good if you shop at Woollies as you get 10% off for one shop per month (up to $50 discount per month)
https://mobile.everyday.com.au/plans/long-expiry-plansCatch Connect (Optus) has a sale on their 90 day plan. $20 for 20Gb over 90 days. Has less data than you've stated but might be okay if combined with home wifi. Alternatively, the 365 day plans provide bonus data at the moment.
https://catchconnect.com.au/home/oneVodafone prepaid $250/240Gb (365 days) starter pack currently on sale for $150 so 20Gb/month for $12.50. Good if you want to stay with Voda. You have to scroll to the right to see this one

Hello,
I would advise looking into the Aldi Mobile Family plans. they give you shared data across your family, and their $95 a month plan seems to fit your needs best. That gets you 100GB shared across all 4 plans per month, or 25GB each, with data rollover, and would cost $24 per person per month. all services include unlimited domestic calls and texts.
