  Decent lens, though since getting the Sigma 18-50 DC DN lens I haven't touched my Tamron. Tamron has longer range (obviously), and image stabilisation, but otherwise I like images the Sigma produces more (and it's much smaller/lighter). This is on an A6400.

    do you shoot much video? I found I couldn’t use the 18-50 because of the lack of is, I only shoot a little but found it was really critical

      I shoot some events on video maybe once or twice a year, but that is a static camera on a tripod in the corner of a hall.

      I think if I was going to shoot handheld video I'd definitely want a A6700 (or A6600), or get a proper gimbal for it.
