They are build kits to make models/figurines. The designs are based off the Gundam series of anime.
It's a hobby craft of sorts; you cut the plastic pieces out, and piece the model together. They don't require painting.
Aside from the build process being quite zen & enjoyable, you end up with an articulated model that can be posed.
Note: these kits come in different 'grades' which indicate size & complexity. This kit is RG, which is small & complex. If you're looking to test the waters, grab an 'Entry Grade' kit for $10.

I'll be honest, I've only seen Gundam 1, 2, & 3 which are movies made from the original anime (1980), but I really enjoyed them! Interesting world and fun characterisations; easy to understand how they hold so much cultural significance.
Been meaning to watch the newer series, but haven't gotten around to it 😅

@G13: Pretty much yes. Although haven't seen good Zoid prices for 2 months now. Might have to wait till EOFY or middle this year. I got the Gojulas for $350 and then like half month later it dropped to sub $300 lol. Also Berzerk Fury for $99 and Geno Breaker for $97.86.

I suspect those days are over, all those JP deals were local price with free international shipping, which isn't very sustainable business considering JP postage prices.
I think the same thing happened when Amazon Germany first opened to Australia, was a fair few good deals for a couple weeks, then nothing.
