I tried this last week late at night and the payment options were unlike any I'd used before, and I don't recall recognising any of them?
Is it possible to pay with paypal, or bank transfer using commonwealth bank?
Sorry this is quite a dense question, but it's my first time attempting to purchase a product using a different method and I'm unfamiliar with how to go about it.
What Payment Method Did You Choose for The Spotify Premium through Amazon India?

Thanks - so can you offer any support or did you just want to point out to me what is obvious already, that I'm finding it difficult as it's not simple.
My support is, it's too complex for you. Just don't bother.

Got it to work. Cheers for nothing though champ
Useless
I was able to use my already saved payment method (debit card). So maybe before you go to Amazon India, save a payment method on Amazon AU.
Hey thanks. And everything else went ahead smoothly and you got the subscription to work?
Yeah it worked. About half an hour later (the time varies), they sent me a code which I activated on the Indian Spotify website.
One thing to note is that your spotify account will effectively be Indian. As such you'll get Indian recommendations. You can do one of two things:
1) Deal with it
2) Convert your account back to Australian by choosing a new plan. This will decrease your 1 year premium to maybe 6 or 9 months. The second point may be confusing, but you'll see what I mean if you go through with it.Edit: Note that when you convert your plan back, you are just agreeing to pay the original $12.99 AUD at the end of the 6 or 9 month period. There is no upfront cost.
Thanks so much for your help. I'll give this another try shortly!
@CustardShot: Cool, let me know how it goes.
@HeliosShield: Hey mate, my debit card is saved as a payment method on Amazon AU. I'm still asked to enter my credit or debit card details. Think that'd be fine?
@CustardShot: Yep
@HeliosShield: All went smoothly after that. Cheers mate!
The idea is you are paying via India to get a dirt cheap service, it's not supposed to be simple.
