Alright.
Seen this LEGO Creator Space Roller Coaster – because nothing says "space adventure" like a roller coaster. LEGO is really pushing the boundaries here.
Apparently, it's for space fans aged 9+, as if kids younger than that are too immature to appreciate the majesty of a LEGO roller coaster hurtling through the cosmos. It's like they're training future astronauts or something.
The playset includes a winding roller coaster track with 3 moving carts. 3 carts? That's more action than my last trip to Disneyland. It zooms past a decorative space rocket, models of Saturn and Earth – they've got the whole solar system on a roller coaster. I just hope the gravity works, or those minifigures are in for a wild ride.
And there's a moon base – because apparently, even in LEGO land, we need a moon base. A shooting star? Are they trying to bring the wonders of the universe into a LEGO set? It's like an intergalactic Disneyland.
They throw in a cool meteor with a light brick. A meteor? I thought we were in space; now we're dealing with falling space rocks. The light brick is a nice touch, though. Illuminated meteors – LEGO is really stepping up the celestial game.
And of course, 5 minifigures – because what's a space adventure without a bunch of tiny people in astronaut suits? I just hope they're ready for the G-forces on that roller coaster.
But wait, there's more – 3 different amusement park rides to build. Not just the roller coaster – a drop tower with an elevator lift and a spinning space merry-go-round. Space merry-go-round? I didn't know we were spinning through the cosmos on a LEGO carousel.
Each set includes a light brick feature that illuminates when activated. So, not only are we building roller coasters and merry-go-rounds, we're adding a light show. LEGO is basically throwing a rave in space.
They mention a digital experience with the LEGO Builder app. I didn't know LEGO came with apps now. I just want to build my roller coaster without needing a degree in rocket science.
Anyway if you're a space fanatic who wants the whole universe in LEGO form, this Space Roller Coaster is your interstellar ticket. As for me, I prefer knowing how LEGO came about. Some kids mum said "lego of that toy".
+1 for the description.
Well done OP. Made my Friday!!
