Can I Buy a Third AmEx Lounge Pass?

I've got a Qantas Amex credit card and I want to visit the Amex lounge with my mum and wife. I know I get two single passes with the card but can I buy a third one at the desk when I turn up?

    You can get a supplementary card for your wife so she gets in on her own card then +1 using your card for your mother.

      Where additional cards aren't subject to an annual fee they don't come with any perks

        No necessarily true. Might depend on what card. We have one main Amex card & one supplementary Amex card. Both have the same lounge perks (each).

            @sumyungguy: No issues with Plat for my partner entering Amex lounge. In fact have +1 on both cards.

              @hj0809: I thought partners could only enter as the account holder's guest, but I now see the policy wording confirms an additional cardholder can use the two entries.

    Maybe check it out before paying. It is right at the end of the terminal away from everything, and is quite small and IMHO nothing to write home about.

    Would not hurt to just ask others (those who has Plat Charge) who intend to enter at the entrance whether they mind guesting one. Most of us would not mind as long as its within our 2 guests limit.
