Duck these ducking ducks!
Maybe great sounding but horrible QA. My right bud stopped charging after 6 months and lots of complaints about the build quality. Also the charging case is on the larger side.
I prefer the sound from the freebuds pro 2 or even the samsung buds 2 pro.
Amazon is easy to return if faulty.
100% build quality issues. Yes amazon has good returns, but for 299 (and this is not the cheapest it's been), I'd maybe wait for the 4th gen.
I actually bought 2 last year and one of them came DOA. Got a pair of Bose QC II and those wouldn't fully charge after ~6months. Have had problems with volume in both the Samsung Buds and Buds 2. QA, in general, seems busted.
Good to know, was considering these but was turned off by the size of the buds (apparently big and heavy in the ears?) as well as case size (don't want a big bulge in my pocket). QA is enough to mean I won't ever look at them again. My list is narrowed down to LG T90s and Soundcore Liberty 4s currently.
Think we’re due for new ones this year
Yep, Sennheiser just announced the Momentum True Wireless 4 at CES.
Got these previously for $248 from Amazon as it sometimes comes with a coupon.
They definitely sound good, but I still prefer my cheaper Liberty 3 Pros. Mainly because of better comfort and not that much worse sound.
I wanted to get these because people rave about the personalised sound. Do they make a huge difference from your pov?
Im waiting for the 4th anw.
For these, yes. I did not like the sound out of the box. After I personalised it a specific way from a Youtube video, it sounded heaps better.
Would you happen to have the link?

Around 12:53, I basically copied his profile.
I have Soundcore A40s (I know different but and a budget model) and the personalised sound thing was crap, made everything sound tinny. I like that they just let me adjust it myself though, so I fixed it up. Another brand and price point might do it better though…
wont neg cos lots of stock available but sorry op this isn't a very good deal. available for cheaper on ebay (or in black) after coupon use.
its also been way cheaper before.
and yes, do note the qa issues… check any given thread about these buds
Yep, eBay deal is better, another $45 off.
Agreed, they are quite often at this price, if you want a good deal wait for them to go lower.
Bought the Momentum 2 nearly 3 years ago, at the end of Warranty left earbud could not connect, claim warranty and got this new Momentum 3 as replacement. After 6 months left earbud cannot charge and connect anymore, warranty already out so cant claim anymore, dont want to spend anymore money on this 💩
Thank you very much, will stay away.
Best bang for your ducks?
