    • 2 years later and they still haven't sold that can. LOL.

      • Or you can buy a case of 24 for $59 (pickup Sydney only) from here:

        http://www.fluidtek.com.au/category29_1.htm

Not sure if they actually have them in stock - suspect is an old weblink not deleted?

        • The Fluidtek website hasn't been updated in ages (The CPU's on the front page are Nehalem era, and not even Sandy Bridge), so it's likely out of stock by now.

Funny that. The can would probably pass the expiry date before it's sold. But who would drink a $999 can.

  • Not sure if worth it, when you see this comment

    Staff Comments:
Note: These cables are labled "1.3 REVISION". But rest assured they are equal to V1.4, we have tested them and can guarantee that they are Full HD and 3D compliant.

    • Do you really need an HDMI 1.4 cable for 3D?
      The short answer is no.

      link- http://www.cnet.com.au/do-you-really-need-an-hdmi-1-4-cable-…

"We've tested two 2m-long HDMI cables on a Samsung 3D TV and 3D Blu-ray player. One is an HDMI 1.3-compliant model from Gefen (a US-based firm that specialises in A/V interconnects and networking boxes), the other is just a "generic" version bundled with an old DVD player and is not even HDMI 1.3-certified.

These tests confirm LG's BX580 user manual claim, which indicates that an HDMI 1.3 is all that is required for 3D video playback. What is even more intriguing is that there's almost negligible image quality variation whatsoever between the cords since the 3D signals are relayed digitally.

Unfortunately, we're unable to verify the latest audio return channel and Ethernet functions supported by the HDMI 1.4 specifications until compatible equipment becomes more widely available. A brand new HDMI cable is probably justified if these capabilities involve revised internal wiring.

Stay tuned, as next we'll be testing whether you need to have an HDMI 1.4-compliant amp to pass-through a 3D signal. Panasonic's new 3D Blu-ray player has two HDMI outputs to circumvent this issue."

The only thing you get from moving to hdmi v1.4 VS 1.3 is some extra network features that are not widely used at the moment by v1.4 players.. but they may start to use these network features in the future!
