I recently bought an s23+ last year on the Samsung AU online store (28/12/23) and called a few days ago to check on its status, since I was supposed to receive pick up instruction two weeks ago.
Upon calling they said that the item had been out of stock so I'd have to wait and asked if I wanted a refund which I explicitly said no to. I ordered the phone on a Boxing Day sale with trade in and a coupon which got it down to ~50% of original RRP. I also wrote an email to Samsung Email Support to follow up too.
This morning I got a response back saying they were sorry for delays so the system has automatically cancelled my order to prevent further delays? Bit vexed right now because I've been waiting so long for this which I was happy to get at a good price and now they've just cancelled it out of the blue.
Spoke to customer support but they say they can't reverse the cancellation and the agent put me on hold to wait for a supervisor then just hung up on me. Calling Samsung Support back again just gives me an automated reply that no one is available.
Anything I can do? Or just hope that I get my money back and just buy a phone a full price :/
Impossible to get anything out of Samsung support.. I'd save my energy.
