I'm looking for recommends for a house building inspector in Brisbane who specialises in writing safety reports for a house rather than pre-purchase.
I'm also looking for one for pre-purchase building and pest in Perth.

Please avoid Jim's Building Inspections. The report they provided to me was produced from a generic template with many incorrect details about the property. Was told roof was colourbond sheet when it was in fact concrete tile. Door frames were apparently timber when they were actually steel. After numerous unanswered calls and emails, I just gave up.

Not sure if this will meet your needs re a safety report, but I’ve used them before and was very impressed. From memory they do other inspections (not just pre purchase) so could be worth a call
Used Proconsult in Perth for a pre purchase home and pest. They have done the same for some family members and always happy with the outcomes, thoroughness and post inspection support / clarification.
I used WA Building Inspections but found them to be not particularly thorough. So I guess if you're looking for exceptional performance, cross them off your list.
Home integrity in WA we found good.
Note for some reason in WA if you want additional services such as moisture detection in wet areas, electrical appliance testing, gates fences, storm water etc this all costs extra.
(could be like this in other states but we didnt have this experience in Qld.
