Westinghouse and Messina is doing a popup in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne for free ice cream and flavoured milks on 20th January from 10am - 4:30pm.

There’s nothing better than an ice cream on a hot summer’s day to cool you down. That’s why we’ve partnered with the iconic Australian brand Messina, to bring you free ice cream, flavoured milks and the chance to win a fridge.

We are popping up at three iconic locations across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, on Saturday 20th January.

Sydney: Bondi Beach (Opposite Roscoe Street on Campbell Parade)
Brisbane: Queen St Mall (by Burberry)
Melbourne: Queensbridge Square (in front of the red steps)
Time: 10 am – 4:30 pm

What do you need to do? Simply come down and say G’day and grab yourself a free ice cream or flavoured milks. But if you get in early you might be lucky enough to get a free beach towel

Flavoured milks: Choc Malt, Strawberry and Dulce de leche

Ice cream flavours: Double choc and Coconut and Passionfruit (DF)

  Umm. Wouldn't it be better to target somewhere like the ponds or a cashed up suburb than maybe one full of airbnbs and renters (Bondi)

    Messina is great quality, but people in cashed-up suburbs won't be buying Westinghouse appliances, they more likely opt for reliable brands like Liebherr, Miele, Gaggenau, Subzero, Neff, Asko.
    As for the backpacker targeting, they will be more likely than well-heeled residents to post lots of photos on social media, even if it's of crazy long queues on >30° days - it's still marketing.

  If the sydney one really want a big give out. don't make it like at Bondi beach but at a location like inside city so people can easy visit and get your lovely ice cream.

    It goes until 4.30pm… they might run out of towels but you should still be able to get an ice cream or flavoured milk

    There were people lined up before 10am in Queen St today. They were giving people 2 ice creams and a flavoured milk

    Ice cream was nothing special.. just like those paddle pops you get from supermarket
