My faucet has been making knocking water hammer noises whenever it's 70% opened or even less than that if opened quicker, how much do you think it'll cost to get a plumber to fix ? I don't think I can go down there to see myself what's wrong.

Don't call them on a Sunday
@Muzeeb
$420 for 20 minutes plus the home owner needs to clean up the mess they leave.
Plus the required $69 service fee.
…and did they fix the issue? For Sunday? Sorry I didn't read through that thread
@SoapyWooder: He's pulling your leg. There is no thread.

Maybe ask an American based forum
Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?
TOBIAS!
Doesn't water hammer usually happen when you turn a tap off?
It's knocking sound when turning on the tap
This is not water hammer, it is most likely shuddering pipes.
It is easy to fix IF access is reasonable. You can also try a water pressure reducing valveHow to fix it?
ask Bob

Hi there,
I had to get this fixed 4 times. Its due to the mixer being turned on and off so suddenly.
- water arrestor
- changed taps in laundry
- something installed in the roof for pipes
- soemthing else was done and i cant remember
Hope that helps you x
I had this problem when the tap washer was getting jammed, after time washers can deform and get stuck in the tap.
Did you used to have a flow restrictor in the tap that you at some point removed?
