Looks like most of that range is cheaper now.
Got some of the glass ones with plastic lids but plastic probably easier.

Pretty similar as the Sistema Klip it ones when on half price at Woolies (but knowing them they'll continue price gouging.

    • The advantage these have is you can buy the lids and containers separately.

      • Yeah I got some glass ones, same lids.
The reason is because the IKEA lids are more likely to break compared t clips (which one has), but cheap enough.

Not much more to move up to the glass containers, which is much better if you are going to heat food still in the containers.

Anti-BPA free brigade here. Please use the glass when heating food in it, your hormones and thyroids will thank you.

Selective breeding, diet, conditions. Just because you find it easier to believe hormones doesn’t make it true.

Free range eggs have the requirement of daylight hours allowed outside. They print the density on the box. I’ve been to a chicken farm, good free range eggs cost more but it’s worth paying for IMO.

@G-rig: It's different eating hormones and having your body stop producing the right ones. Phthalates will be on the same level as smoking and asbestos in the future.

@G-rig: It won’t be mobile phone radiation or eating eggs.

The problem with ikea 365+ glass containers is that they chip easily. I prefer leaching plastic to glass shards in my food. I had lots of ikea 365+ glass containers and got rid of them for this reason.

          • @happydragon: Had them for years, never chipped once. Use the dishwasher and take them in a back pack to work every day for lunch.

  • These are a good size for either sorting or building lego sets with

  • Been using this range for a couple of years now, daily use.
Only one side of one of the lids has failed in that time. Always a perfect seal for liquids and very hardy when being knocked around.
Great value for money and no hot plastic when reheating; I use a paper towel over the container when microwaving.

These are easy, most of the IKEA containers are the same or multiple sizes of each other so stacking them isn’t a problem.

You can also count on them being available for replacement later on
