On sale is this new rugged phone from Ulefone that's packed with heaps of really cool features that I think set it apart including a 64MP night vision camera, 120W USB-C fast charging, 50W wireless charging, dual SIM with dual 5G and the whopping 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.

Like other rugged phones this has the IP68/IP69K splash, water & dust resistant rating with MIL-STD-810H certification and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protected display so it'll easily survive drops and dips in the water.

The main features include Android 13 with Google Play, 6.78" 1080x2460 display with 120Hz refresh rate & 396ppi, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, microSD card support up to 2TB, MediaTek Dimensity 8020 Octa-core CPU with Arm-Mali G77, 5280mAh battery with 120W USB-C fast charging, 50W wireless charging and reverse charging, 50MP Samsung + 50MP SK hynix rear camera, 64MP OV64B1B night vision camera & 50MP selfie camera and dual SIM with 5G/4G.

Other features include NFC, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, fingerprint reader, IR blaster, SOS key and a customisable key on the side. The phone measures 177.4mm (H) x 81.5mm (W) x 12.75mm (D) and weighs 332g.

To me , it sounds pretty good . How good is satellite messaging? Havent heard any other mobile phone with that feature 👌

It's a service provided by Bullitt and they've partnered with Motorola to bring it to their phones. Unfortunately there's no coverage in Australia yet. The expect launch is sometime this year and I believe you will need to sign up to a plan to use it.

Not something i'd really pay attention to at the moment since it's in its infancy.

  • 332Grams. Wonder how the cameras perform. Otherwise specs look good.
