  • Poutine Parma

Just don't order one when in Italy…

    • Well , thats not gonna happen for my family , (italy) . However , this seems very reasonable but mulgrave ! It's Not around the corner , one day .

      Wrong.

      • Why is it wrong? Genuinely interested. I've only heard "Parmi". But I'm in SA, and originally not from Australia.
Is it different in other states?

        • In most parts of Vic it's Parma. But I've heard Parma, Parmy, and Parm.

The reality is … you won't find a pattern to the suffixes so it's really a matter of regional preferences. It's a ciggie, not a cigga. Sang-er/a not a Sandie. Barbie not Barber.

Just chalk it up to a fun ribbing between regional rivals :D

          Edit: parmo is right out

Yeah ok, chicken ParmAgiana is it then?
The fact this restaurant shows more than one option for a "parma" makes me ill. No idea you lot.

Such a purist - doesn't even consider eggplant a valid option.

          • @bargainpersona: That's the OG of course but come on, "parma" is not a base it's a topping.
Unless these guys are putting "Bacon bits, Onion Rings, BBQ Sauce and fries!" on top of topping…?

  • Hope this is a success and you offer it another time. Will be away :/

How many Parmas can the average Ozbargainer eat? Also how many Parmas would you have to eat to make this a real Ozbargain? Four, five?

  • My Mom loves a parmi. Will book it for her birthday in November.

  • Canadian here, your "poutine parma" doesn't really sound like a poutine at all. if it doesn't have curds it's just a parma with bacon and gravy

  • Anyone had their parmas before? Is the chicken halfway decent or is it mostly battered crumbs?
