  • The difference between this and the green variant, is it a better product or just different smell?

  • how is this a deal?
ALDI tricare hand wash is $3.19/L
    https://www.aldi.com.au/groceries/beauty/beauty-detail/ps/p/…

    5L of ALDI = $15.95
which is $4.42 or 21.7% cheaper.

      different products, different quality.

I personally dont like the tricared branded liquid soap, (they are way way too oily). If you prefer that composition of soap, then certainly go for it. Additionally go to any major place that need high quantity of soap, they dont generally go to supermarket and get their homebrand, instead they get big big package of products (like this 5L one, instead of 1L ones)

        Tricare has a few variant.
pick the antibacterial one if you think the honey or aloe one is too oily.

Most people prefer smoother hand soap as our skin gets drier and drier when we get older and older.

I also find Aldi's tricare has the same high quality as Palmolive.
On the other hand I find Northfork is just the same quality as those used in shopping malls and offices, which is lower quality than tricare/Palmolive.
However, given I bought 15L of Northfork for $11.55, I am happy with it for that price.

  • Legit question, but is this actually good compared to a more expensive soap like Palmolive, Dettol, Pears etc? I saw this in the clearance aisle in my local Officeworks and thought it looked like the cheap soap they use in public bathrooms.

For me personally I prefer it because it is just so good for making foam soaps with, (try doing that with palmolive one they wont, they will like seperate out in power and water if you dilute it). Its good for straight simple liquid soap too ofcourse.

I can make a lot of foam soap using this. If I see it in clearance at OW I'd personally buy it. and if you want to compare them you should also look into Safety Data Sheet, (they have all sort of information about the product in it, like ingredients, pH etc).

      • That's good to know, thanks for the info!

As I said in comment above, Northfork is exactly the same quality as those your found in public toilets.

Northfork is a brand that targets organization clients, that's why it's sold in officeworks.
It is stated in their website. https://northfork.com.au/about/

Our house of brands command instant recognition from consumers worldwide and are essential in offices, schools and workplaces everywhere.
With a wide range of products covering office, hospitality, education and hardware, we maintain a sharp focus on assuring that our brands remain at the forefront of the marketplace

I use ALDI's tricare as a benchmark, same good quality as Palmolive and it's 3L bottle is often on special buy for $7.50
Unless Northfork is 33% cheaper than ALDI (cheaper than $1.67/L), I don't think it's worth it.
