Hi all,
We are travelling to Asia soon and flying with Malaysia Airlines from Australia, then Nok Air, Vietjet, Vietnam Airlines and Air Asia for flights within Asia. We have booked a child ticket for our 2 yo so she will get her own luggage allowance.
We have just now remembered that the stroller we are planning to take with us may have to be part of her check in luggage allowance and not as an additional item. I've tried to search for this information from those airlines' websites but found nothing for our situation. Most of the information are for infant who don't have their own seat.
So is it a common policy that stroller for a child is part of their check in luggage? I will have to call each airline to find out but thought to get an idea from ozbargain first
Thanks
Full service airlines have allowances for child items which are in addition to normal check in allowance
Not sure about low cost carriers
