Cannot Reply "out of Stock" to a Comment

Actually two bugs. One when I tried to create this thread and put the title as "Commenting Bug" it wouldn't let me saying Title is too short. But this is probably not important

Main issue is related to the following deal
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/824404

When I wrote "Out of Stock" to franco cozzo's comment where he linked to an eBay item for the same product. I got the following message

If the deal is no longer available, please report it so that the moderators can mark it as expired.

And it wouldn't let me submit the comment.

Original product is not OOS, Just the one in eBay is

    Just re-word your comment.

dont bring me into it…ive had enough penalty box time already!

  • If the deal is no longer available, please report it so that the moderators can mark it as expired.

And it wouldn't let me submit the comment.

You should be able to resubmit the same comment if you just click the 'OK' button on the popup.

    • It appears that there is an issue in that the second submission doesn't work after dismissing the popup. We'll investigate and fix.

Edit: The popup is successfully dismissed for top-level comment, but not replies

      • This will be fixed for replies in the next rollout
