It is just for riding around on the footpath with a 30kg rider on board. Area has quite a few decent sized hills.
Purchase is not urgent so we could wait for a deal.

If NSW ever allows e-scooters I reckon best case they'll follow Qld and allow 12–16 year olds to ride under adult supervision. Worst case they'll follow Vic where I understand the age limit is 16.

E-Scooters are illegal on anything public such as roads and footpaths, you can only use them on private property.
Go get an eBike for kids.
Today I saw a boy about ten riding an escooter illegaly in NSW. What made it worse he was riding in the wrong direction in a roundabout! Sure you want your ten year old on one of these?
How about a mountain bike with gears for the hills?

Normal scooter. The kids I see riding electric scooters need to be riding kick scooters.
