Yeah, people eat all their children to be and hens themselves when no longer lays enough egg.

Unfortunately true.
The inconvenient truth is in 2024 if you want to be an ethical omnivore the only way to achieve it is to farm the meat yourself to your own ethical standards.

What are these? Do they include keeping an animal confined their whole life, separating them from their parents, cutting off their balls, preventing them from living a free life, slitting their throat?

Caged egg hens have their own private condo, I can’t afford to buy in Sydney. Free range hens don’t have a home they are jammed in by the thousands into sheds.
Can we expedite the cage egg ban?

If you're so care about hens why not raise them to save them from being used to produce eggs like slaves? Slaves are normally free roaming not caged, aren't they?
Well they are not exactly free if they only got a tin shed to roam in. Just saying.
