Looks like they removed all the checkbox coupons.

  • I can vouch for this one. I bought it when coupon was available. https://www.amazon.com.au/HAUTMEC-Rechargeable-Flashlight-Wa…

    uses Osram LED.
it's bright. 2 settings only but I always use the lower one because it's still very bright but extends battery life significantly. for gentler stuff I have aliexpress cheapies that are included free with battery shipment (I shoved two 16340's in one of the aliexpress freebies and it's still going no problems at all with higher voltage).
charges via micro USB = convenient (yeah I know no USB-C booooooo)
uses 16340 battery. if you have taken down your Arlo system (they abandoned free cloud storage promised on purchase of early generation models) you should have a pile of these.
no proprietary battery shenanigans like on Olight products.
magnet is decently strong. not as strong as my nitecore but still strong (also HAUTMEC actually has a gentler gradient from sweet spot than my nitecore actually the best beam I have ever seen and barely any hotspot so very good for daily use/the average person).
small torch but thick so still feels decent in the hand which makes it easy to handle.

    • Does this one have a head strap? Pic of the box says it's a head torch but doesn't show any pics of it.

My kids wants a right angle torch but looking for one that has head strap too. Returned the Aldi one because it had a square body and couldn't be angled down when using as a head torch

      • no headstrap is not included.

I should say even on it's lowest of 2 settings, it's very bright. not only the area it lights up being extremely bright but if you look directly into the torch it can sear your eyes. maybe not ideal for a kid.

as it says towards the bottom of the amazon page:
        " WARNING

Do not shine the torch directly in the face
Do not allow children to use LED light unless under the supervision of an adult."

        • Thanks. Yeh I say kid but old enough not to shine in people's eyes ;)
