Besides the obvious that it's a pricing error, but it is weird to only show one photo of each product.

Probably done on purpose to farm data and sell it off.

    • Selling data is illegal but using it for sale purpose is more likely

business should have to honour these mistakes by law

    • +2

Absolute tosh. What is pretty pathetic is people jump on this and the companies have to clean up the mess.

      • Businesses need to be more careful. Or get people to do data entry properly

        • Mistakes happen with systems. This is, obviously, one of those. Common sense should be how business is conducted.

          • @try2bhelpful: after covid there is no common sense :P

            • @SpeedAU: You aren’t wrong that some people blame Covid for everything. It is just some people have an irrational sense of entitlement. They have always been out there. Social media means they find their tribe and egg each other on.

    • +1

While I don't agree with you that they should have to honour the errors as it will be so costly for businesses, I do believe that they should face some punishment. Whether that be a % of the error issued as a voucher for something else in there store, or a fine paid to a regulatory body. Businesses don't have an accountability for these errors, and without punishment then they have no real reason to be more careful

      • If the error was plausible, and people wasted time thinking it was genuine, then maybe. This was obviously a gremlin in the system. Why people go to the trouble of ordering and then complain it isn't honoured is more the issue. You roll the dice and if you get lucky then fair enough. However, what you are mainly doing is making some poor employee clean up the mess. Me, if I see something like that I tend to send a message to the contact us email address to alert them to the error.

  • Price has been increased to $500 and or order still has not arrived :/ Money has yet to be refunded yet either

    • Just got an email saying 7-10 business days for a refund

  • Got an email today stating they will cancel the order. They gave a discount code for $100 off my next order (which I won’t be using). It’s THANK100 if anybody will actually use them in future.
