Corona $39.98 Per Carton 24x330ml @ Thirsty Camel (Hump Club Members) [VIC]

120

$39.98 for a slab of Corona at Thirsty Camel if your a Hump Club member.
Easy to join, however i think you may need to give them your mobile number.

Not the cheapest price ever but the cheapest I've seen in a while.

The golden days of $30 case specials are gone forever i think.

Currently $49.95 at Dan Murphys

I'm not going to neg because it is cheap for Corona, but honestly there are so many better beers out there for $40

      like VB

    • I agree so many better beers than Corona for $40 but still worth putting this down as a bargain.

    • aware us of these better beers..

    @Patricktsmith

    Patrick, I think you have a problem…

    • At those prices he can afford to drink every day!

Haha alcohol is the only thing i know enough about, to tell if a price is a bargain!

  • That sucks, in Tassie the hump club beer is Carlton Draught $30 which is cheap but pretty average beer

    • +3

I'd take $30 Carlton over $40 Corona any day!

      • +1

        only marginally better than VB

        • Geeez I couldn't disagree more.
I'd much rather drink a lighter/crisper Corona with less flavour than a VB/Carlton Draught that tastes like fermented sweat. And yes, I'd happily pay the extra $10 to enjoy it :)

        • only marginally better than VB

          Not anymore !!!

          or just drink water.

  • Does anyone know if Dan's will price match the Hump Club deals?

    • Apart from location and stock levels, they have no leg to stand on otherwise!

      • yes they do, it's a member's only deal, not available to non-members…

i'd be surprised if they match it… they often wouldn't match Foursquare deals, although a few places did…

        • They certainly will match it. Nothing but good experiences price matching at my local dan murphys, despite the degree of difficulty. If you've got the membership, and they would otherwise lose the business, why not?

I even scored the Lagavulin for 54.95 when price matching the BWS deal.

        • If you've got the membership, and they would otherwise lose the business, why not?

they didn't match the Foursquare deal with 1stChoice last year for most people where Matilda bay 6-packs were half price with a check-in on the app…

        • Ahhh k, maybe I'm just a bit lucky with my local store.(Boronia fwiw)

I also didn't attempt that one.

Corona is so over rated. It's an average beer at best. 2 for $40 and it's a bargain.
It goes to show how powerful marketing and product image are.

    • +2

Its the beer of choice for people who don't really like beer.

      • I think this is an insult… but I don't mind - I don't like beer but am socially accepted at my work functions by drinking Corona

    • +1

its not that bad and goes down well in the hot weather when you want something light

    • The cans are alot better

  • I'd rather drink the cobra beer from getwinesdirect for $29 delivered. Enjoying one now as matter of fact.

  • It was $35 last week from the same shop.
