Car Insurance Comparison Sites

Just wondering what car insurance comparison site do you guys use?

I'm looking for comprehensive insurance in a 2 year old car.

Not sure if there is standard comparison site like there is one for CTP insurance comparison. Personally, not sure if I would trust iselect.

Or does one need to manually go through the usual insurers like AAMI, budget, Youi and do it yourself?

    CTP policies are regulated by the MAA so are easily comparable on a website.

    For comprehensive policies, different insurers have many different features and much more difficult to 'compare'. They also take into account different factors (and give each different 'weightings') when calculating the premiums. So you'll need to do a quote with each one to get the exact premium.

    Oh you don't need to compare Youi they are shit and expensive 100% of the time. Comparison websites are generally abit trash as they're pay to play.

    Every year I just do RAC/NRMA, AAMI and Shannons and pick the lowest. I've never found Budget, Coles etc to be cheaper anyway so don't bother looking at them at all anymore. And youi is just a joke of a craptastic company.

      What do you mean? Just searched NRMA and compared to my existing Budget Direct policy, it's 1,000 AUD difference.

    I use MGA insurance brokers of NW NSW for all my insurance work. The company checks it all out for me.
