Anyone Know How to Download Clone Hero Songs from Google Drive? Keep Getting Quota Exceeded Errors?

As per title, I've been trying to get a few songs for Clone Hero. But constantly get this

"Sorry, you can't view or download this file at this time.

Too many users have viewed or downloaded this file recently. Please try accessing the file again later. If the file you are trying to access is particularly large or is shared with many people, it may take up to 24 hours to be able to view or download the file. If you still can't access a file after 24 hours, contact your domain administrator."

Plenty of reddit / youtube posts that suggest different ways of 'starring the songs', then download. None make any difference.

Any ideas? Any repositories that aren't linked to Google docs?

    Sounds like somebody is using google drive to mass share public files, instead of having a proper web server do it. Google drive is not supposed to be used this way, hence the block.

      Yeah, that's what I figure. Clone Hero has just become too big.
      Was hoping someone has them elsewhere. Surely do?

        It's not a Clone Hero specific thing. It's the case for all grey downloads that are hosted on Google Drives.

        There used to be workarounds such as making a copy in your own drive and then downloading from your own - as Jimothy suggested

        Strangely enough there's even a post in the CloneHero subreddit from yesterday suggesting similar.

          Yeah..they have closed the copy loophole.
          That fails now as well.

          But yesterdays post works…

          You make a shortcut to the track.and then download the shortcut…which actually downloads the full file.

          Good to go.
