Damnit, I don't need it hut I sure as hell want it!
Not so necessary, agree?
Depends whether you need to cut Bowden cables and soft wire rope up to 3.0 mm dia. (also V2A)
For the average guy at home - I would think not necessary at all
Well I'm someone who works with bowden cables once in a while and I've never had a specialist tool. I've always made do with a reamer and some manual touching up.
If I worked on them everyday, I'd probably spring for the proper tool. That being said, this is a pretty niche application for the home handyman.
tempted for brakes cables on bikes them realized all our bikes are now hydraulic, which makes this cutter only good for the gear cables :-(
A housing cutter is not unlike this. Hydraulic hoses probably need one of the blade cutters though….they can be had pretty cheaply.
you can get a really good hydraulic hose tool on aliexpress for not much money. The Toopre ones are really good
Not sure what I'll use it for yet but I'm sure something will come up 😂
Nice! Grabbed 2.
