  • amazing price

    • Be mind anywhere 3S is different from master 3S

      • -1

        Still a decent mouse though

        • I got a master 3S $98 from eBay, waiting delivery now.

      • NSS :D

(kinda obvious from photos being 100% different)

shipping to sydney $16.85 kills the deal

  • Great price but it'll be grey in no time

Can someone explain how the MX Anywhere 3S is an upgrade from the MX Anywhere 2S given the removal of the left/right scrolling/button? I'm an MX Anywhere 2S user and I use the left/right scroll to switch between tabs and it doesn't seem like you can do that on here without using gestures which doesn't seem to be really intuitive or easy to do.

    • Looks like they've relocated the middle mouse button back to the scroll wheel, was not a fan of the middle button configuration on the MX Anywhere 2S.

      • Yea that was one draw back with the 2S but manageable considering you can still middle click just with a different button. They should just implement it like the G502 where the scroll wheel can scroll up, down, left, right and click.

        • Love my 2S so far with great battery life except for the switch button, making it hard if you are trying to use 2 devices concurrently, which was my initial purpose for this mouse.

Got it for about the same price from HN around 5 years ago.

And very suitable for small hands.

          • @bcYield: Switch button as in the button on the bottom to swap between the 3 devices?

Are there any other mice that solves this for you?

    • I became aware of how loud the clicks are on the 2s one late night and haven't been able to un-hear it unfortunately. Been looking at getting the 3s as it's apparently a lot more quiet like the pebble or m650 and it has the other features I want (multi-device, works on glass tables).

      • What do you mean by multidevice? I thought 2S is considered multidevice too with the ability to switch between 3 devices. Or are you referring to Logitech’s Flow?

        • Sorry, should've clarified that it was the m650 that doesn't have multi-device. And the pebble is quiet but doesn't have side buttons. I think I worked out that the 3s is probably the best portable option for my use case but I ended up getting m650 earlier in the year to tide me over as I couldn't find a good deal for the 3s at the time.

    • isnt there anywhere 3 in between 3s and 2s ?

Could not add to the cart

  • Does officework price beat add shipping cost?

    • I believe shipping is included.

  • Can we price match at JB?

    • I've done it years ago with Bose QC35.

  • What's so good about this? Just curious

I have a small mouse, i use for my laptop but I am thinking I need a new one.

It doesn't even have a scroller lol

The best I can do is to share Logitech's product link. What might be good for me maybe not be good for you. For me, I just based on some wireless mouse reviews and I need it to be compatible with mac
      https://www.logitech.com/en-au/products/mice/mx-anywhere-3s.…

Feels much higher quality than most other small mouse options. Rechargeable battery lasts for months. Scroll wheel has an auto-clutch for fast scrolling.

Lots of people won't care about this stuff, but some people do.

I have two of the 2S Anywhere models and they are fantastic. But I care about things like high quality mice and keyboards, whereas other people can be happy with the free wired mouse or keyboard that comes with their Dell PC.

Great little mouse and USB C charging which is why I don't use the 2s anymore. I also use a case for it from AliExpress so it doesn't get too scratched up or damaged as it lives in my backpack.

    • Do you have a link to the case that may be shared?

      • +1

Looks like I can't share the link to AliExpress. A search for "Logitech Anywhere 3s case" should get you there.

    • +1

So it's not a huge mouse? That's good.

Can you price beat at Officeworks online, or only during work hours? Probably sell out or something.

I have no idea the value of a good mouse, probably paid $20 for mine from MSI a decade ago haha.

      • +2

It is quite a small mouse but not so small that it's uncomfortable to use. I still wouldn't use it as my main mouse though, I have a Master 3s for that.

        • How does it compare to 720

          • @mikeoxlarge: Have used both.
            anywhere 3s is
            * smaller than mx anywhere
            * build quality is much better than m720. For me m720 feels cheap and plasticy
            * scroll wheel is much better feels premium. However the m720 has side scroll buttons built in to scroll wheel. In mx anywhere you have to use the button combo ( scroll while holding side button) to side scroll.
            * device switching is not as easy as m720 as the switch button is located at the bottom of the mouse
            * doesn’t support unifying receiver. Supports logibolt receiver that you have to buy separately. Says it’s more secure than unifying.
            *button clicks are silent
            * supports usb C rechargeable inbuilt battery (m720 is AA external battery)

Overall I prefer mx anywhere because of (in the order of priority)
            * size and weight
            * silent mouse buttons
            * usb c
            * premium built

            • @thunderbolt: Price matched at Jb, Got a $10 vouchure as well. Im thinking of pulling the trigger, mx master seems better value using spreadsheets. Do you know if the middle button can be pressed to move sideways like the cheaper mouse

              • @mikeoxlarge: Yes it should be. It’s not a mouse function. Rather a windows function. And besides you can do horizontal scroll by scrolling while holding any of the side buttons. Once you get used to it, it’s very smooth. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Mx master is too big and hence uncomfortable for me.

              • @mikeoxlarge: Easy to get voucher? I may try tomorrow.

          • @mikeoxlarge: Another difference is the anywhere 3s has a magnetic scroll wheel while the 720 has a mechanical one. Only makes a difference as it will fast scroll even in the clicky mode if you spin it fast.

            • @Alexxx: That makes sense, logitech is really the only ones reonveting here, no other company cares. I have a pop mouse that does this. Im thibking it gas the same magnetic mechanism. Battery drains a lot compared to the keyboard

Snapped it at office works. Total 65.55. You have to be at the store to do the price match (in case you didn’t know). Thanks OP

    • Are you in wa? Obviously they didn't add shipping cost

      • Do they add shipping? How? If you're picking it up.

        • They didn’t add shipping.

      • I’m in VIC. Yes. They didn’t add shipping.

    • I managed to price fix for $65 with a JB agent. Initially, reluctant to extend the price saying it was out of stock.

      • You mean 69

        • No for $65. I told OW can do this for 65 and convinced the agent.

      • damn, my JB agent refused to price match since no stock was available. Instead they said they can only knock a few bucks off.

        • Just tried a different JB agent, managed to get it for $69. Happy Days

  • OOS

    • You can still order, so technically it's not OOS.

Just waiting for more stock to arrive, but it feels like heading into Officeworks may be a pain if they kick up a fuss.

I definitely need a new mouse, mine only has 1 scroller and on a laptop alt/tab between windows, and scrolling across on construction plans, and up down is very frustrating.

I probably need an external 24-32" monitor to make it easier too!

      • yep i couldn't get a price match at OW just now, need to wait for stock availability as you can't even add to cart anymore.

        • Could try JB online? Someone else did.

OW is near me tho, JB is a bit of a drive

      • +1

Definitely get a 32 inch if not bigger itll change your life

        • I got a 24", been in a box for a decade.

I could probably connect it, but I do want to buy a 32" for music production and def would be handy with study as I'm constantly looking at plans and specs and some are huge

But can never make up my mind which monitor is good lol

Thanks OP price matched at officeworks.

Thanks OP. Got it price matched/beaten at Officeworks Punchbowl @ $65.55. Initially they were checking the shipping cost too.. I was like uh-oh.. but fortunately they didn't add it. They were a bit surprised by the big discount, but didn't take long to price match. I say OW staff are much better to deal with than JB hi-fi. Pretty good deal, gave $2 donation :).

Screenshot of the receipt, not sure if it will help if you get denied:

      Thank you

100%. Having dealt with both companies found the OW is much better and easier to deal with. Probably their policies and training.

  • Do people find the twin scroller easier to use like the MX, or how some mentioned on the side?

  • Unfortunately Officeworks at Trinity Gardens in South Australia said it has to be in stock in order to price match.

    • What's annoying is it wouldn't let me add to cart while I was at OW, now it gets me add and says ETA 1/1/24.

      Very annoying.

Do you think they'd price match now? It lets you place an order, it gives an ETA so I don't see the issue.

  • Back in stock - WA Wangarra and Bentley.

How do you even remove the OOS?

  • Link no longer available.

    Ohwell

Just came back in stock, and Officeworks price matched over the phone! She said I was a wonderful last caller for the day!

    No shipping charge, C&C.

    • You are in Victoria, I'm assuming. There is only stock in Vic warehouse.

      • I'm in SA, and I did it over the phone.

The lovely lady did not charge me shipping, and considering it's C&C there would be no shipping charge.

I honestly was waiting for her to charge me shipping, but I was super polite and she didn't charge me.

I think it's unfair to charge shipping, considering I'm doing click and collect.

I can understand that it's available in the Victorian Warehouse, but I do think Officeworks price matching are a little bit easier to deal with.
