I have a good coffee setup at home and over the years I have been trying many different types of coffee beans. I used to prefer ones with earthy, chocolatey notes for a while, but I'm starting to get a little bored with them recently and started preferring beans with fruity and floral notes.
Can anyone please recommend me the fruitiest or most floral coffee beans they know? I would prefer single origin, but blends are okay too. A direct purchase link would be nice. Thanks.
I’ve had some great sweet filter roasts from five senses and patio roasters. Both seem to rotate what they have so it’s hard to get the same thing again unless it’s one of their standard blends (which aren’t really what you are after). Other than that, coffee cartel has some awesome sweet roasts, but $$$$.
Are you a black coffee drinker? That is the best way to experience "fruity" beans.

Over the years, I've had several versions of this and they have all been invariably substandard when compared to proper Indonesian coffee from a competent roaster. Definitely not worth the asking price.

A lot of suggestions in this thread. Most are $80+/kg, which is absurd for beans that aren't single-origin or from a retail store. Typical beans cost $15-20 with a pretty decent margin. At $80+kg (some are $100) you're in gouging territory.
Typically North American roasters have the coffee profile you're looking for. If you went to a coffee shop (proper, not a crappy cafe) in west coast America or Canada, they'll be roasting beans with the profile you like - similar to what Starbucks patented back in the 90s.

The best I've found so far are some of the light roasts from supermarket beans when on special, but even those are usually $30/kg.
Once your coffee drinking palate matures and you learn to appreciate the delicate aspects of coffee you will want to switch to lighter roasts that expose the nuances. It seems you are turning that corner.

In my opinion, it's hard to go past Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. It's THE coffee bean. I like to roast my own, but have not been doing so lately, since I'm only one bus stop away from Forsyth Coffee and they do a very good job of roasting the beans. Rob Forsyth has been an international coffee judge for many decades now, so I'm lucky to have his coffee shop so close to me. It seems they also do online orders.
Sidamo Guji is also a nice bean if you want to compare Ethiopian single origins.
I should also mention that the Yirgacheffe beans from Forsyth's are fairly forgiving when it comes to espresso extraction. Even if you don't get the perfect extraction the first time (when you try to dial in your gear for the new beans), you still get a very drinkable beverage. That's often not the case with other beans, which end up being tipped into the sink.

I found their taste descriptors accurate for some decaf beans I got from them. It sounds like you would want the beans with more acidic fruit descriptors like apple or cherry.
