Will HN or JB Hi-Fi Price Match / Beat Samsung Corporate or Edu Store?

Hello Folks, Merry Christmas!

I was wondering if any of you have had success price matching a TV from the Samsung Corporate or Education store at Harvey Norman or JB Hi Fi?

If so, could you share your experience and any tips pls?

P.S. - I will try in store tomorrow regardless, but curious if anyone has had success in the past.

Update: One JB Hi-Fi store agreed to the Samsung Education store price. Another JB Hi-Fi store agreed to an even lower price from the regular Samsung store (post discounts on the app). Didn’t try HN.

      Sorry, I meant price match / beat. HN have a 10% gift card offer for tomorrow apparently which could work out well if they matched the EPP / Edu store pricing.

      You were correct. JB Hi-Fi did agree to price match the final price on the Samsung app.

    HN price match based on cost plus delivery to store plus cost plus cost of running the store plus cost of franchise fees plus overheads plus plus….

    or in other words if it a real special then no chance. I gave up years ago trying to get HN to price match as they would not sell below "cost"…. I buy from who ever has the cheapest price.

      Samsung store has some pretty horrible customer service. I know a few people who have had to go to ACCC to get any sort of resolution from them

    I'd say no as it's not an advertised price, Anything that requires a membership/signup is nullified.

      I got lucky. JB Hi-Fi were okay to price match the Samsung app price after all discounts.

    I looking at Samsung Tv, what sort of prices are you getting at EDU? I had success at my local GD matching 30% Samsung vouchers.

      Some models are about 35-40% off RRP. JB isn’t too far off on a couple of those, but could be a $200-300 difference + discounted gift cards.
