  • Tempting, but trying to transition to eink these days. I have a Lamy EMR pen:-)

  • So many better FPs out there for less. Pilot E95S and VP comes to mind…IMO of course

    • Where's the best place to get VP for less? Gold or alloy nib? I've only seen the alloy nib for sub $200

      • I purchased my 18kt VP in blue on Ebay for $130.

Seller no longer has any listed. Keep an eye out they do pop up for cheap occasionally

The other pen I'd strongly recommend is the Asvine P20 Galaxy in Medium. Absolutely amazing writer

      • penpen-avenue on ebay has a VP with gold nib around ~160-170: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/202789884866
They've got the 'special alloy' and decimo versions as well I believe

Then there's Amazon JP via AU deals, where Sailor and Pilot pens/inks occasionally go for (almost suspiciously) cheap

    • I agree when it comes to performance, LAMY seems to be hit and miss with QC at any price point. I have several Pilots including kakunos that always write perfectly out of the box.

You can't deny that it's an iconic design though. I am still interested, despite expecting some disappointment with the writing experience.

  • Can I borrow your pen for a sec…..

  • +1

It's… a pen? What a ridiculous price! Even over priced Apple Pen's (2nd gen) are cheaper than this, and they are actual E devices!
