I'm a beginner at DIY and am finding my limited set of drill bits are often not the best for the job.
Bunnings had a similar Craftright 100+ item set in Carry Case but I think their set was near $80.
This set from Aldi looks like it could be good at just under $25.
update I found Masters has a 90 piece set for just under $36. This doesn't look like as big a deal as it did a few minutes ago, but it still looks pretty good to me
update 2 Bunnings now has a Craftright 130 piece drill bit set out the front of the stores (Box Hill South) for $26.88 … I'm going to type the details in a comment below so I can compare it to Aldi's offer
update 3 Bunnings put the ~ $70 set of drill bits out the front. My mistake. It's not ~ 100 pieces. It's 300 pieces :P
They also had some other DIY deals that look like they could be good
Turbo grip wrench set of 2 for $4.99
Drill bit set - glass - 6 piece for $9.99
There are also a heap of other deals but I'm not sure how good they are.
I got this last time they sold it (about 6 months ago?)
It's come in handy a few times, I only do the odd jobs around the house with it. I tore up one of the screw bits oh which quality is questionable but all in all it's a steal to get all this for $25. I'm tempted to get another for spare parts!
EDIT: I also have the Turbo Grip Wrench Set (another previous sale) which makes light work of stubborn oil filters. They look cheap but work great - better than the more expensive ones I bought from Bunnings! If you only use it once to dislodge a stubborn oil filter under a hot car in summer it pays for itself I reckon.
