Ultimate Ears UE Mini Boom Portable Speaker No App

I just come across these speakers stick away in a cupboard forgotten about never been used with price tag of $99 each and I have two.
I have took one out of packaging and it has red light flashing so more than likely flat.
And I have tried to connect it with blue tooth probably can’t find maybe due to not enough power in system to find.
So will try later once gets more charge.

What I don’t get is I can no longer find the app for it this model was even better with speakers linked for stereo etc.
I can’t even remember when I purchased them maybe 2016 at a guess.
And I suspect that once I have charged or got some charge and get Bluetooth to work.
But being able to pair the two together how am I going to get that as the app I got does not have these speakers on the app.

It’s the Ultimate Ears UE Mini Boom Portable Speaker

    • iPhone SE but these speakers are not on the app? I already installed the app. Obviously I need to see if they charge up and hold charge but not sure if I be able to pair them if these are not on app.

      • Pair them with the bluetooth then try each of the speaker types and see if they show up, if you have a second one pair that first then see if this one shows up in party mode.

        • I’m not sure how I was able but got both paired up, obviously the app would have been useful and helpful but it’s no longer available from apple and probably cause of the age.
But glad i have got them fully charged after all these years and work nice set even though they are dated,
Must check my others from last year or this year or last year can’t remember. Megaboom and wonder.

  • Highly unlikely anyone here still owns these speakers as they came out a while back I think I may have got them 2016 or slightly earlier.
I maybe wrong but I believe the app for these no longer on apple ap store so how does pair both up for stereo ie working together.
I tried watching vids of people doing other brands without the app by pressing buttons on them but unless I was doing it wrong could not get it to happen.
I don’t know why the app would not be still available yes I’m on iOS.

It’s good the charge and still work as sometimes these devices battery go funny after a while so if I have had them maybe 7 years all good.
But I have no idea how long they last yet being used. Shall see over the Xmas period

  • Its possible to pair the speakers without the app. Ddouble click both speakers bluetooth button. First one, then the other. Then press the bluetooth button once each.

It will take multiple tries to get it to work. You likely have it when both speakers ding ding one after the other.

Go back to your device and connect via bluetooth and you should get duplicated sound. You wont get left / right stereo channels.

Its also nonsense that nobody has these any more. Just because logitech got rid of the app doesnt mean the speakers stopped working.
