  • Thanks op. 25 bucks, you could put it towards a pro controller. 😃

Oooorr, could get this for $25 and not waste the extra money. 😃

$25 gets you a data frog controller from Ali Express too. No problems with mine.

  • I’ve actually been on the fence about buying a charging stand for my second pair of joy-cons which are $15 at lowest even from Ali express.

This way it’s also ready to go as a controller.

Likewise, my second set is always flat when it's needed, free 90 minute uber also.

    • I just keep my spare Joy cons on a charging dock $9.73 on AliExpress.

  • Also, free Uber deliver, I had it at my door within an hour this morning!!! Tried it out and it has the same feel as a Pro Controller (I have 2 official), extremely comfortable and way better than the official charging grip (which I also have). I will actually use this one for gaming. Can recommend 👍

Tried it out and it has the same feel as a Pro Controller

Gotta disagree with that, there's a big difference between the sticks and d-pad on the standard vs pro. No grip is going to make those more comfortable.

I'm a little curious, have you tried both like the commenter you're replying to? Or, are you just blindly disagreeing?

        • I haven't tried this particular one but joy-con grips function the same way, they hold the joy-cons. The only variations are distance between the joy-cons, palm grip shape, and charging ability. You still use the buttons and sticks on the joy-cons themselves.

While a wider grip can make it a little more comfortable, you're still stuck with the joy-con sticks, which are smaller and have less travel range than the pro controller. Same on the triggers, joy-cons are like the old 3ds (very slight travel) while the pro controller is more like the triggers on a PS or XB controller with a much greater range.
