I currently use still a Xbox one upgraded to an Xbox x which will be set up after Xmas.
Son or daughter or both will be given the Xbox one for all I get for it anyway they can get use of it.
Son already has switch daughter will be into quest.
I have two TV’s I can use Xbox x with yes I know the tcn tv I have will be the best suited but for various reasons I not be using it for with that tv.
I’m pretty sure I know what the answer is as it’s an old tv vs newer tv.
Currently set up with Xbox one is a Sony kdl 65w85oc Bravia 2015 yes I have had this since 2016 and first few years it had very little use.
It’s been used with the Xbox one currently.
Yep it’s a 3d tv and we enjoy watching 3d still with many yet to watch 3d movies.
I have a Samsung 65” bu8000 crystal led uhd 4K smart tv 2022
I assume the Samsung might not be the best tv for gaming but it is 4K if that makes a difference and it’s newer tv and better specs than the old 3d Sony.
Or does it not make much difference which of these TV’s I use Xbox x on.
What would be the benefit of using the Samsung and why.
The other tv I have which was purchased more for watching 4K movies and really don’t want to set up tv with the Xbox x for various reasons but I believe this has something that works with games better, maybe in future I can move tvs around but I’m sort of committed that this one can’t currently be used for gaming at present, it’s the
TCL 75” c835 4K full array mini led qled 2022
The biggest benefit of the new console generation in terms of image is the resolution and refresh rate. That being the case I'd use the Samsung, otherwise you're not getting the advantage of at least one of the benefits (4K) assuming your Samsung TV doesn't have a high refresh rate and that the Sony has neither, if you use the Sony then the only thing you've gained in your upgrade is faster load times which seems like a big waste.
