Hi, I recently bought a Hue starter kit which included a hub, 3 white globes and a "Hue Smart Button" for about $50. I received it and while the lights are working as expected, I cannot get the button to work. It seems to be DOA. I've changed the battery, reset it. The lights never come on when pressing/holding it etc.
Now $50 is a good price for all this and I don't want to return it for a refund, I want a replacement of either the entire kit or a replacement of the button only. When going through the process on Amazon I am only given the option of replacement with some crap other products or a refund.
I've never had to return anything with Amazon before. Is it possible to just get the button replaced? Is there a way to talk to an actual human about the problem and get a resolution?

What brand is it? You might be able to get replacement parts from the manufacturer.
You can contact Amazon chat and there's a chance they'll tell you to keep it and still refund you, depends on how many other returns/refunds you've previous initiated and the CS.
