Do gaming laptops usually go on sale or have better deals during Christmas/Boxing day like on Black Friday?
To be clear, I'm asking about the trend that you or others observed in previous Boxing days, not telling you to predict the future.

How do these compare with the lenovo legions?
Wanting to get a 14inch gaming laptop nut not sure if to go with lenovo legion slim or metabox
I've had my metabox with a 3080 card in it (power hungry and can run hot) since 2019 and its still in perfect condition.
Even about to add some more ssd storage to it since it has extra m.2 slots.
Main thing to look out for is screen quality, processor quality, preferebly ram is 2 sticks not 1, does it have extra storage space for a later upgrade, and plenty of usb-c ports, and then is the graphics card good for your use case.
Then buy the cheapest possible laptop that meets all that criteria. Brand differences are so minor it comes down to aesthetic/material of shell at the end of the day.
im in the market. From my research, best value is to wait for the Intel Core Ultra series coming in 1st Quarter next year or the Ryzen series becoming more prevalent. Best battery life and decent gaming igpu. Of course everyone is different.
I would check Centercom, Scorptec, PCCG for local deals first and they generally have the best price and available stock and better sales. They also have better specs for their laptops than other retailers like JB-HI-FI/HN/OfficeWorks/ TGG. and better all-round value and sometimes free shipping too.
Then I would check the official websites for manufacturers since they all have online shops now, Lenovo, Asus, MSI. Sometimes they have killer deals, but shipping is hit or miss.
None of us have crystal balls really. There's likely to be some discounts around, there always is all year round, but who knows if it matches the specs and budget you want.
