Hey everyone. I was wondering if the GALAX OC V2 GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB was a good GPU. I've had a little search around and found a forum with a bunch of people saying that Galax is an underrated pick. I saw the the card itself also had a better oc speed than most of the higher priced 4070 ti ocs. The card itself is going for around $1229 which I found to be the cheapest 4070ti triple fan gpu. I am currently building a white gaming pc build and made another forum earlier on asking about it. The specs are the following:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken 360 RGB 78.02 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
Memory: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
Storage: TEAMGROUP T-Force Cardea A440 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: GALAX EX Gamer 1-Click OC V2 GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB Video Card
Case: NZXT H9 Flow ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Corsair RM850e (2023) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Total: 3564 (with shipping included)
The reason I'm making the forum post is because I was hoping if someone knew if they were a good card. I've changed few of my build so far due to suggestions, which include the memory from CL38 6000 to a CL30 6000 Team Force Delta, and the PSU to a Cosair RM850e from originally an Asus 850 Tuf.
I was also suggested to change the MB and the AIO, however, I found that the Asus board was the only one that I personally like the look of and similar case with an AIO as well. If there was any similar boards for the DDR5 AMD 7000 series and the AIO that look similar then feel free to suggest. I was hoping for as many suggestion or improvement as possible. I won't be able to change the Case, CPU, and the RAM stick as I've bought them already, however, for everything else, feel free to suggest anything.
The budget was supposed to be $3000 - $3500, However, I went a little over budget due to shipping.
I had no problem with my Galax RTX 2600 that I had for a few years. It was a good price, lower than better known brands.
