Cashrewards latest cashback not very appealing

Anyone else receive this? Targeted email from CR this afternoon, with $5 bonus cashback. Oh good, I thought, haven't had one of those for a while, then I read the Ts & Cs:

"You must be logged into the Cashrewards account that corresponds to the email account that received the bonus email and must shop three (3) times via the Cashrewards platform between 14th December 2023 and 31st December 2023 11:59PM AEDT with a total combined minimum spend across the three (3) shops of $100 (inclusive of GST but excluding shipping) (“Qualifying Purchase”)." All have to be qualifying purchases of course.

Er, have to spend a minimum of $100, and then just $5 cashback? I think I'll pass on this one.

    5% off isn't terrible. It's an easy $5 if you were spending the $100 across three retailers anyway.

      Yes, if you were spending that amount already, but usually wouldn't get anywhere near $50, let alone $100 buying through CR. I've never had a $5 bonus targeted offer for more than a $30 spend before.

      Just remembered I did buy a benchtop oven from David Jones during their increased cashback around the BF sales - CR must now think I'm a big spender LOL.

    Sounds like Coles' spend $x (insert a number from $60 to $120 per week) for 4 weeks to be awarded 10,000 points ($50)

    Definitely not like the “come back please!” deals they were giving out less than a year ago.

    Definitely have been using shopback more than CR in last year. Even top cashback has made its way into my arsenal. Competition is good, hopefully CR picks it up in 2024
