great speaker, good deal, flip 5 is great for portability though but it can't beat the volume

  Apparently this one has the internals of charge 5 but missing music sharing and dust proofing. Some were saying this sounds better than charge 5.

    Ah I see - I guess using it indoors this is fine. I take my Charge 4 outdoors so want it to be dust/water proof.
    I see they brought the cover back to hide the ports - which the Change 5 does not have for USB-C. Odd move to exclude that from the Charge 5.

      @Skullytor - I think this model is still weatherproof, just not to the higher rating of the Charge 5
