Caught any Boxing Day bargain that you like to share?

So, how did you spend your Boxing Day? Traditionally it is a day of huge sales from retailers of all categories, and I've just seen on TV how people lined up outside the shopping centres.

Did you pick up any good bargain on the boxing day that you would like to share? What did you buy? Where did you get it from? How much did you pay? Do you think it is a good bargain?

For me, I stayed at home, opened up a few gifts this morning that I've collected from yesterday. Went to the park with my family for a quick barbie, and take a rest at the moment thinking how am I going to spend my afternoon. One thing for sure — I don't think I'll go near the shop.

  • Not on Boxing Day, as stupid SA shops were all closed…but we went out the day after to get some baby sleeping bags…was hoping to get them cheap at DJs but their end of year sale is only on select brands, not across a whole dept, so we went to out regular baby store instead where we get 15% off as we're regulars…not bad but still not real happy that at this time of the year I couldn't find a better % off. Oh well…we really needed the sleeping bags, so at times like that you sometimes have to sacrifice a bargain and just bite the bullet and purchase at near full price.

  • At game stores you can get dj hero renegade edition (xbox 360 - wii - ps3) for $99 Saving

    • Wow this must be the biggest gap between posts ever. Well, as far as post-Christmas 2009, I didn't go on Boxing Day but this afternoon the Brisbane CBD was deathly quiet compared to the 1000 other times I've been there. Might have something to do with the monsoon we're having, but I'm glad to have picked up this bargain as a result: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/20947.
